Country singer Carrie Underwood opens up about three miscarriages, her emotional breakdown, and how her faith was tested before the birth of her miracle baby, Jacob.
💔 A Story of Loss, Faith, and Healing – Carrie Underwood\’s Most Honest Confession
Country superstar Carrie Underwood is known for her powerful voice and inspiring songs like “Love Wins”, but behind the spotlight is a woman who has faced deep personal heartbreak.
In a raw and emotional episode of “Mike and Carrie: God & Country”, Carrie revealed the pain she kept hidden for years — three devastating miscarriages after the birth of her first son, Isaiah.
“I was so excited every time we got a positive test,” she said, “but each time, my hopes were shattered.”
After the third miscarriage, Carrie reached an emotional breaking point. Her faith — which had guided her throughout her life — suddenly felt distant and confusing.
“I had an honest conversation with God. I told Him I was hurt. I was angry. I felt broken — and I felt guilty for being angry at Him.”
Carrie explained how hard it was to continue with her public image while silently grieving behind the scenes. She would put on a smile for fans, go on stage to perform, then return home to cry in silence.
“I kept asking God: Why would You let me get pregnant if it’s not going to work out? Why put me through this?”
In 2018, when she became pregnant again, she was terrified. She didn’t even allow herself to celebrate, fearing more heartbreak. She pleaded with God in prayer:
“We need something. We either need to have a baby or You need to shut this door forever, because I can’t keep going down this road.”
🌈 But that time, something changed. That pregnancy went full term. And in January 2019, Carrie gave birth to her second son, Jacob Bryan Fisher — a miracle she describes as “proof that God listens, even when we’re at our lowest.”
Carrie’s honesty is a reminder that faith isn’t about being perfect — it’s about being real. It’s about being vulnerable enough to cry out when things don’t make sense, and trusting that even in silence, you are heard.
“Sometimes God doesn’t move the mountain. Sometimes He gives you strength to climb it.”
🙏 Her journey continues to inspire millions of women facing infertility, loss, and spiritual doubt. Carrie Underwood’s voice is not just one of music — but of courage, hope, and raw humanity.
